I especially like the sounds in tiananmen_2.mp3, the guitar type sound really works really well. Though, maybe it's just me... but doesn't the mix sound a little distorted? Otherwise great stuff!!!

Hi Baz! So glad you brought it up. :D Actually I thought of that too and have already implemented this. It is one of the new features in v1.10, but thanks so much for suggesting it. Makes me even more certain that it's a good idea!! 8) However, the way it works is a little different from what you su...
Better late than never I guess...
A simple recording feature has been added to the sampler module.
Right now it simply records audio from input stream 0, replacing the existing sample. Will be in v1.10.
Yeah.I've reproduced this.
A bug for sure. Will fix ASAP.
Seems to be related to "sustain" in some way.
If I disable sustain for all the samples after loading, the patch works again for me. Not sure why though.
Don't worry sweet_trip! 8) It won't be removed, but just be an option. Right now I'm leaning towards making the analog mode (non resetting) the default , as it actually sounds better and more natural (to me) on lots of patches, but I'll try out some percussive sounds to make sure it doesn't break an...
Yeah, I remember you talked about that! Sounds cool!!! 8) 8) Now, you're propably talking about a video that records the analog synth too :), but I'm just gonna mention that it's pretty easy to record video from within the synth. Just hold ctrl-shift and right click on the background. Then choose &q...
* Re-enabled the non-resetting, analog-style envelope attack (was disabled in v1.07). An "Analog" option has been added to the ADSR envelope attack knob. This option is on by default. (Thanks Argitoth!)
Actually the ADSR used to be like that. I.e., it would not reset to zero, and that is why clk options was added. However, the clk option also disables smoothing of the envelope, so to make functionality more consistant this change was made in v1.07: ADSR module attack now always resets level on trig...

hmmm.... just diffed the contents...a lot of the patches look almost the same and have the same names. perhaps it is just a newer version of you bank sorry for the confusion
Not really sure how the CS80V works, but there is nothing wrong with having two sets of notepitch modules for playing two voices detuned.
Like so: http://karmafx.net/forum_stuff/dual.fxp
But perhaps this is not what you mean?! You want them detuned on specific polyphonic voices ?
Not really sure what you mean by "original size of karmafx synth", but if you want to replace the background with a fullsize image of 1024x768, you need to replace the Global.Background.bmp file and change the line in the res.txt file that says: Bitmap Global. Background 256 256 1 0 to Bitm...
Internally this is actually what the pattern module does,
but I guess you are after something different?
Do you need greater control over note lengths, positions or even chords?
yes, all KarmaFX plugs use true 32 bit float as output (not to be confused with 32 bit integer output which can clip).
Also, since the fpu is used, the plugins internally operate at up to 80bit precision.
no...sorry, it is not directly possible. :? but you can e.g. route a module through and amp and module XXX and then map the "out" parameter of both modules to the control panel. In that case you can turn the volume of the amp module down and module XXX up, and acheive a similar effect as t...
Sounds to me like a saw lead with a highpass filter applied, and then of course lots of echo and verb. I'm not sure about amp/filter modulation though...you'll have to experiment if you want to get the exact same sound. If it was me, I would start building the patch without any effects. Once you hav...
Good points. 8) And I like the idea. :D A new module does take longer to implement though. If a new module is to be written should it perhaps be a more general waveshaping module, i.e., I'm thinking where you edit/draw your own waveshapes ? Yes, I'm interested in your take on Drive vs. Level....
Hi BKTormey! Thanks for the suggestion! That's a really interesting feature-request! 8) So would it be sufficient with a "clip switch" drop down / with a "+", "-", or "both" clipping option in the distortion module ? I need to see how this would fit with the d...
If so, it is supported in the distortion module and in the bitshuffler module. It simply converts the signal into a representation with the specified number of bits which can make sounds sound harsh and overly digital.
I've fixed the bug now. Was du to a compiler error.
MadG: It could possibly also be responsible for the crash.
Fix will be in next release.
Thanks so much for reporting!
It has something to do with the Amplifier. Disabling the amplifier or the amp modulator, makes the patch work as expected. I don't know why yet, though...
Looking through the bug reports I just found this. So, so sorry for not replying sooner.   I really need a project file for testing this, as I have no idea how to set this up like you did in xt. It looks like midi looper has been updated since this was posted: http://www.kvraudio....
Finally got around to check out this bug during clean up in the forum. Sorry for the lazyness   I have reproduced this!, but I hate to ask isn't that to be expected? I mean, it is essentially an infinite loop where the output, volume controls the cutoff...That means that the cutoff...
