Aftertouch not recognized

Using my Axioim 61, KarmaFX synth v0.94 does not recognize aftertouch through the MidiData module. The only way I can use aftertouch is to first convert it to another CC (like modulation) in order to see a response in MidiData. Is there a fix for this problem? Has anyone else noticed this?
