It's planned, yes.
64 bit is interesting, especially when it get's more widespread in host applications., to avoid compatability issues and gain performance...

I have one little question

Sure, KarmaFX Synth will soon be upgraded to VST 2.4.
When more hosts start supporting VST 3 we will follow that path as well.

Hi Madslau!
I'm happy to say that I currently have KarmaFX Synth running native x64 on PC/Windows!
It seems very stable and faster than ever.
The x64 Mac update, installers and a short beta period still lies ahead. The plan is to release the x64 version in Q1 2013.
I will make a news post about it, as soon as I am more certain about the release date.
Here is a shot:

That is just wickedly good news!!
Greatly appreciated and thank you for for making the effort - looking so much forward to use your excellent plugin in native 64 bit!
All the best!

Well, I decided to skip Live 9 and upgrade to Reason 7 instead, so I'll be using Live 8.4 controlled by Reason 7 64bit through MIDI.
Once KarmaFX becomes 64bit, I'll use Live 8.4 64bit permanently, now that even Korg Legacy is finally 64bit too

Finally, phew!
...though, I'm a bit worried with this part of the annoucement:
«All registered users have received an email with the release candidate download link for v1.17 RC1 build 6043.»
I think I'm a registered user (otherwise I wouldn't be looking right now at Kasper's email from 2010 saying "Thank you for purchasing KarmaFX Synth Modular for PC/Windows!") and I didn't get any email
*snif*
EDIT: 30secs later... "KarmaFX Synth Modular version 1.17 RC1!" email received.
eh, that was fast
