FR: arrows visible

Lots of time the arrows of the cables disappear behind the modules although there is space for them to be visible. Can you make them prefer not to be behind a component?

FR list

Hi Kasper,

Is there a Feature Request list? I find myself thinking of FR's but forgetting if I or someone else already requested. So it would be nice if we could look it up. And perhaps with your comment if you think it is worthwhile (and possible) to implement at some stage.

FR: show/hide mod

show/hide modulation for ALL component would be great.

Actually for me it would be great if show mod was the default setting. It is very timeconsuming to switch it on for every component one by one by one by one by one....

first bank of patches

This is my first attempt with KarmaFX from a while ago. Since I don't have much time and really need a manual, I haven't been working on new ones lately. http://frankvangompel.com/media/presets/KarmaFX.zip It is a rather large .zip file because I used samples; sometimes even several in one patch. So...

That sounds most annoying!

*Tell us what happens when you click 'store'.
*Can you locate the patches folder in the KarmaFX folder?
*Does it show the banks when you click 'bank'?
*Have you tried reinstall?

Don't loose hope :!:

question: step modulator

If I route a stepmodulator through the output I get a low clicking sound. But the modulator is not a generator. Is that normal behaviour or is it a bug?

FR: coloured arrows

One other thing (something I saw in the Moog Modular): coloured cables. Perhaps that is a bit too much so I suggest coloured arrows on the cables.

From generator: red
filter: yellow
modulator: green
amplifier: blue
other: white (light-grey)

What do you think? :D

FR: right-click 'disconnect'

If you click a component this would be handy. Another one would be right-click, choose input:

click: check component
click-drag: replace component

Now we have to do multiple clicking for some rerouting: really unproductive :(

bug- triggering sample in poly-mode

When you play a triggered sample in poly-mode there is strange behaviour. It seems that the sample is not triggered every note but only the first of the poly settings. So, for instance, in poly4 it triggers every 4th note. But is doesn't seem te be consequent either... :?

Yes, perhaps a translucent window that goes inside the markers (see other FR that I posted) that you can toggle on/off and a 'copy to step modulator' option.....

FR: sizeable window step modulator

Perhaps a stupid request but here goes:

I wanted to model a step modulator curve on a sample but it was actually quite difficult because of the different window sizes. Especially if you use a beat loop with some irregularities the same size window could be quite handy.

Would it perhaps be a good idea to help Kasper with the manual so he can concentrate on coding? We could make it a group project....?

I wouldn't mind proofreading, edtiting and doing the layout.

questions sample/note-off

1. Are the samples that I use in the Generator kept in the patch? So if I want to share a preset I don't have to include the samples I used? 2. How do I control the loop of a modulator with note-off? Take for instance patch 19 from your bank: when you play a note, the loop doesn't stop anymore. How ...
