Midi Gate

Yeah kinda, Something that takes midi note information (on / off - regardless of note, but maybe velocity modulates volume) and then this would modulate another parameter, such as volume of an output module, presto! A nice midi gate. (An input generator would take audio and route it through the outp...

Midi Gate

Hi there,

I'm sure it's my knowledge of how MidiTrig and MidiData work, but I'm trying to make a midi gate effect, by linking a modulator to the volume of an Output module, but can't get the thing to trigger when midi data is sent through it.

Please can someone help?

Thanks,

ah, ok

Yeah, that's what I meant. Oh well.

I'm probably just being a bit lazy and can do everything with the sample start and end points :)

Is it possible to.........

Alter the start and end points of a sample loop via automation (or input from a modulator)?

Ooooooh, that'd be nice :)

Strange Request

Hi there, Dunno why I thought of this, but it could be quite fun. Would it be possible to link the amplitude or the output of a generator (for example an audio input) into the input of another control, for example filter cutoff, and also set the ratio of amplitude to the amount it affects the contro...

First Attempt - Logic's ESP Clone

First attempt, may be a bit shoddy - obviously any ideas on making it better are much appreciated. It's a try at recreating Logic's ESP soft synth in KarmaFX. Raise the output of the generators to create your base sound. Gen1: Triangle Gen2: Saw Gen3: Square Gen4: Square -1 Octave Gen5: Square -2 Oc...

Hi Rob,

Cheers for that. I get what you are saying, but my problem is that a note pitch controller (unless Im doing something wrong) can only be detuned down by one octave. I was trying to multiply the effect and get a -2 octave pitch.

Extra Detune

Marnin! Probably my inexperience, but I'm trying to detune the output of a generator by 2 octaves down, and I'm trying to do this by putting the output of one NotePitch controller (detuned one octave) to the input of another (also detuned one octave) and the output of that into an amp, etc. Trouble ...
