Hmm, I did everything you suggested and still no go. I don't have access to another computer just yet so it may take a few days to try it.

I just set my computer time to February and magically it works.

If I were to pay for the full version, could I set my computer's date correctly, lol?

Yeah, changing my screen res lets it all fit there...but I really like everything big, but karma is too big..I think i'll just adjust my screen resolution when I'm using my host.

I remember in earlier versions, karmafx synth betas were not compatible with each other...is this still the case? For example, I have a project with a September 2005 beta, will the new beta open patches for it?

The whole legato thing is exactly what I was looking for...although I'll have to get used to either overlapping my notes or putting one long note through the whole sequence...which works fine for me. There is a workaround if you use the input module and sandwich a vst between 2 instances of karmafx.
