*bump* so... no news is good news ? Exactly :) Thanks for the long feature request, and sorry for the slow reply. A system like the one you sketched, while powerful, I suspect would be a little cludgy to use. Thanks for the info. It sounds like a bug, but I have not experienced this. Does this happen when you simply load an existing patch, and when loading a new sample into the sampler? Re: GUI causing excessive CPU in Renoise

I've tested in renoise and reproduced the issue. You're right it's burning 50% CPU in the gui. It seems that renoise is calling the frameupdate at a whopping 160 FPS for some reason. :? Changing the framerate checkmark in settings in renoise makes it drop to around 35% CPU, but the framerate is stil...

Hi Christian!

Sounds like a great idea!
You could control the cutoff frequency using a miditrig module, but I guess that isn't precise enough for hitting the exact note frequencies.

Development is currently focusing on stability rather than constantly adding new features. Simply hook-up a MidiTrig module, set to it's defaults (mix set to full right = full velocity), and route that signal into your filters cutoff knob.
That will make the filter velocity controlled.

Re: More Automation slot!

while there is no autoassign of all parameters, there's a quite hight limit of 128 control parameters. At least it should make it possible to go crazy with automation.
So simply assign the parameters you want to automate to vacant slot and then setup automation in the host.
