ok - fine - but vsts are free of the limitations of the real world - and that is really a limitation - so there probably should be an option to change the way this behaves on the adsr module....

New version needs Fixed Size Buffers now?????

Up until the newest version of the synth - in FL studio 6.08 - i never had the vst wrappers Fixed Size Buffers option on - but with the latest version i kept noticing these little glitchy noises after i released a note - especially if there was a delay effect used.... So i turned it on and now those...

yes - i tested it and thats true - even when an adsr is fully released - supposedly silent - i ran it thru an FX channel and just kept adding gain and eventually i could hear the synth loud and clear still coming thru.

this needs addressing ;)

ADSR release completes - but its not really silent!

Using say the 303-like 7 preset, i wired the output of the amp module into another amp so i could control it with and adsr ( the 303 like presets and some others are oddly without amp envelopes, or even gated on the amp, and trying to use an adsr on the already existing amp module which is being mod...

thats the thing - im talking about having a little "pad" option even if your in poly 3 or 4 mode - because say ur playing a pad - chances are you will use 3 or 4 note chords - so if you played 2 chords in a row, at least some if not all of the release and attack stages would be compromised...

basically in karma you can control the anything with the input of anything else (and i mean anything)....if you want to control the amp of an amp module with the output of a osc>notepitch>amp>filter>chorus chain - you can! you can use step sequencers, adsrs, lfos, hfos, and more, to control the amp ...

the little gate is there for a reason - if you make an amp and dont add an adsr, the sound will go non-stop - the little gate button is just like saying "attack 0, sustain 127, release 0".

now that you know - if you want to use ADSRs turn off the amps gate ;)

this is the golden rule

at no point, no matter what polyphony the note controller has, should the attack and release phases of a note be compromised by triggering a new note....

im sure mr karma understands this - its probabyl just a case of working out how to fix it....i hope soon.[/b]

I have been playing around with Karma lately and have noticed theres still a problem with the ADSR... Try this - Make a basic synth with an Osc going into an Amp, and control its "Amp" Knob with an ADSR - and set the Notepitch controller of the synth to Mono. Make the Sustain 127, and use ...
