I kind of get it, heh. It seems to me that the modulation output is divided and applied to either side of the value the modulated knob was set to before it was modulated. So, like you say if the output is set to 100% and the modulated knob was at 50%, it rotates 50% either side.. 0-100. In linear mo...

KarmaFX manual
Kasper, would you be interested in a manual for KarmaFX synth? IIRC Open Office has a PDF export feature, and I could get it and try to knock something up in that.

How weird. The patch stays the same when switching between banks for me (0.90B in EXT 1.4 beta + Live 5.01). Presets need to be saved in the Karma format I think, so the fxp method likely won't work. Try creating an empty folder in Karma's patch folder, and then start up KarmaFX, create or load a pa...

Ah, I understand this now. Thanks for the explanation Kasper, and thanks for asking the question Jammin. Tested the LFO sync (square wave to patch volume control against the metronome in the host) and it definitely syncs up and stays in sync every time the host transport is started. It does go out o...

Maybe the modulation depth is for changing the ratio of control between cutoff and resonance? It's very useful for assigning two parameters to a midi-controller - I made a patch a couple of minutes ago which uses the mod wheel to change both the cutoff and resonance of a bandpass, and without this f...

BR: Step sequencer note tempo not saved into patch
Whenever you reload a patch, it defaults back to 1/4. Also, KarmaFX displayed a "unable to write file" message before crashing and erasing a patch I'd been working on for half an hour or so, when I (stupidly enough) tried to name the patch with a Seq: prefix. It was dumb of me, but I forgo...

Praise for good Karma
Just wanted to say how much I like your synth, and thank you for making it. It's so quick and immediate to use (I find it a much more intuitive way of working than synths with static components) and yet so flexible and full of possibilities. It's an indispensible sound design, synth and effect works...
