New version needs Fixed Size Buffers now?????
Up until the newest version of the synth - in FL studio 6.08 - i never had the vst wrappers Fixed Size Buffers option on - but with the latest version i kept noticing these little glitchy noises after i released a note - especially if there was a delay effect used.... So i turned it on and now those...

ADSR release completes - but its not really silent!
Using say the 303-like 7 preset, i wired the output of the amp module into another amp so i could control it with and adsr ( the 303 like presets and some others are oddly without amp envelopes, or even gated on the amp, and trying to use an adsr on the already existing amp module which is being mod...

 :P :P :P :P look - good synths do what im saying - if you have long, long long attack and release times - then this instant off if max poly is reached is an average behaviour - why not raise the bar and make a smart option so you can preserve your attack and release times??? Look im just putt...

hmmm - i just went thru and inspected my synths - and realised i was basing all my assumptions on 3xOsc only...the only other synth i found that did the same was Superwave P8 - a fair few other synths compromised the release phase of a previous note and started the attack at whatever the release was...

basically in karma you can control the anything with the input of anything else (and i mean anything)....if you want to control the amp of an amp module with the output of a osc>notepitch>amp>filter>chorus chain - you can! you can use step sequencers, adsrs, lfos, hfos, and more, to control the amp ...

look - heres an mp3 of a single osc synth in mono mode with ultra long attack and release Click Me notice the first note fades in for ages....then i release the first note and it starts fading .... while its still fading in its release stage, i press a new note - and this fades in over the top...so ...

exactly - even in mono mode! how u say? Well, if at any point, in mono mode, a note is still in its release phase, and you happen to trigger a new note, you need to momentarily add a new voice, so the 2 notes can work properly (ie old note finishes release properly, new note starts and completes att...

Phsycho Feedback!
I realise that modular synths have the potential to create feedback - so i wanted to test it out. I wired a simple synth into an svf filter, then wired that into a distortion unit - then i wired the distortion back into the svf filter....finally i wired the distortion to the output.... SSCKKKKERREEE...

Im not an expert on dnb - but i believe this effect is create with at least 3 oscs, all squares, one normal pitch, one detuned -7 cents, one detuned +11 cents, then Lowpass filtered to remove unwanted mids-his...and maybe a little distortion/saturation at the end... i think thats what dnb wobblin ba...

Make an Osc, that generates a constant tone....then route the osc into a note pitch controller, so you can play it like a synth on a keyboard.....then route the note controller into an amp....then make an adsr, and route it into the amp knob of the amp module...and on the amp module, uncheck the &qu...

exactly - a new voice shld be temporarily added if you trigger a new note while the release of another note is still in progress. Even in poly mode i notice adsr discrepancies - at no point in time should triggering a new note in any way affect the adsr's effect on any previously playing note. Very ...

ADSR Envelopes still incorrect
I have been playing around with Karma lately and have noticed theres still a problem with the ADSR... Try this - Make a basic synth with an Osc going into an Amp, and control its "Amp" Knob with an ADSR - and set the Notepitch controller of the synth to Mono. Make the Sustain 127, and use ...
