Thanks Matthew! I can confirm that it is a bug that causes Traction/Podium/... to not save.... Actually they do save and load, they just don't use the data for anything due to the bug. I know what it is and have started to fix ...I'll fixup preset save/load in the process and release a new version a...

Patch save/load in KarmaFX Synth 0.91
I've got confirmed reports of the new patch save/load feature
working in Live and in Cubase SX.
But I've also heard that it shouldn't work in Tracktion 1,
and in Zynewave Podium.
Can anyone confirm this ? or confirm that it works in other hosts ?
Please let me know, so I can fix.

Problems with 1.5 release !
Hi everybody ! Some people have reported errors, crashes even, with the new version of the synth.. This apparently only happens in some hosts, like e.g. "Traction" and "Cubase SX3", so if you use these hosts I encourage you to wait with the download. It seems to work fine in e.g....

SSE support disabled
Seems every release has birth problems these days  A kind person has just drawn my attention to the fact that the SSE code crashes on Pentium III's due to a bug. Not 100% sure why, so I've temporarily disabled SSE support in the current release 0.91, so it works nomatter what! I'll fixup th...

KarmaFX Plugin Pack 1.5 released !
Plugin pack 1.5 is now ready for download. It contains the newest version 0.91b of KarmaFX Synth. I wanted to release this version of the synth before Christmas, so this time the FX plugins have not been updated. Still, I'm pretty excited about this release! The main new Synth feature highlight are:...

Hi Adam ! Glad you like the sound of the synth ! :D I unfortunatly havn't made a record of the sounds used. Most of the stuff in the demos is recorded while testing and tweaking the synth, so some of them are stored in the patch bank and some of them are not. But it is a good point! I'll write down ...

Hey Kasper! By the way I still can't get the filter to track the keyboard? If you have time can you explain? I thought the controller passed midi note information to all the modules that were plugged into it? Or do I need to route a cable to the tracking knob? Heeeelllllppppp! :D I've turned up the...

control panel in v0.91.
Thought I would show you guys what the control panel looks like currently: http://karmafx.dk/press/controlpanel.png As you can see it makes it easier to browse, load and store patches, edit patch properties and change the current bank. The 32 assignable controllers are accesible in sets of 8 knobs. ...

Yes, there is another option: Simply ctrl clicking like you would if you had to create the wire again will remove that wire ! However, this is not intuitive, so I plan to make this different somehow. Havn't really come up with a better way yet though. ps: Be careful that you don't accidently create ...

I was not quite sure in which way to handle this situation when I wrote the code, but decided the way it works now since it avoids clicks in the sound, and (as you point out) can get around it by using polyphonic mode. I this works differently in other synths in mono, please let me know. Perhaps, I ...

Hi Matthew ! Sorry to hear you lost your work  You are right, it's not a bug in FL studio... more like a missing feature in KarmaFX Synth. To make the patch load right in any host, you have to store the patch in a bank before saving the song (i.e., like on a hardware synth)... However, you are ...

Both respect the initial setting ! However, in linear mode: The modulated signal is simply added to the initial setting. (Note, this means that the modulation won't neccesarily use the full range of the knob that is modulated.) In range-scaled mode: The modulated signal is multiplied by a scale fact...
