I do not think the sampler is behaving as it should (or at least as I expect it to, please correct me if I am wrong)
1: KarmaFX 2.0 Build 279 Full 32 bit
2: Synapse Audio Orion Studio 8.612
3: Bug: When Trigger is enabled the sample restarts with the note on event, as it should.
When Trigger is disabled the sample does not loop in any mode.(No output at all) I would expect the loop to begin and
continue once the sequencer is started.
I have to enable trigger to get the loop started then disable it to prevent re triggering.(it then loops continuously)
4: Reproduced with several samples and several instances of KarmaFX Modular

Thanks for reporting the issue.
True. What you are describing, is how it should work.
But first, I want to make sure if you are talking about sustain loop or regular loop (forward, pingpong, backward) ?
For me, when I disable trigger or load a patch with disabled trigger, it loops continuously.
However, sustain loop does not work, which is to be expected, since no key is held.
Please let me know.

I refer to regular loop, not the sustain loop.
Load new instance
Replace Generator 1 in default patch by selecting sampler.
Select Forward Loop (no further control adjustment)
While it is playing, disable trigger and sample loops at full length.
start sequencer again with trigger disabled, nothing happens with the sampler, no playback, no sound, no animation
(please note other modulators in this patch respond to the sequencer restarting)
The sampler will only start again if the trigger is enabled again.
And again, sorry for the slow reply.
I believe this is a bug.
The correct behavior would likely be to retrigger the sample on sequencer restart, even though trigger is disabled, in the case where loop mode is enabled.
Thanks again for reporting this issue!
