How did the online update work for you?

Post by karmafx » 03 Mar 2009 01:07

Hi !

Since v1.06 is the first update that does not require a fresh install and can can be installed using the "Check for Updates Now..." feature, I'm interested in feedback on how this worked for you :!: :?:

(Since this update only touches the core dll it does not require you to close down the host or the synth, but should update instantly. This of course implies an internet connection, so if your workstation doesn't have that, simply use the normal download procedure to get the full installer.)

One reported a crash in Cubase 5 after updating  . This is a bug, but the update itself went ok.

If anyone else has similar experiences (in Cubase or other hosts), please let me know.

Thanks.

The update itself seemed to work fine for me on Ableton Live 7.0.14. The only thing is I did get an app crash after closing Live. I don't know if it is related but that very rarely happens.
