If you click a component this would be handy. Another one would be right-click, choose input:
click: check component
click-drag: replace component
Now we have to do multiple clicking for some rerouting: really unproductive

Well, the procedure now is that you click a component and it gets selected or deselected. So if you want to change an input you have to disconnect one and then connect an other. Why not be able to 'replace' the component. That is one click less. Therefore I made something up: click-drag. You click AND you move the mouse over the component. But perhaps there are far better suggestions?
Since I am not really proficient with this programming I do lots of connecting and disconnecting just to see what happens.
