osc2 teaser !

Post by karmafx »

Hey!

Development of the synth is slowly progressing....
Its been silent here for a while, so I thought I'd show a teaser of the
new osc2 in KarmaFX Synth, just to let you know in what direction
things are going:

Image

as you can see it is a dual oscillator generator with
adjustable hardsync and optional ring modulation.

it sounds ok too (warning: 2mb .wav file ahead):

Later ! :P

I eagerly await any and all future developments of this synth!

I have tried literally 100-200 freeware soft synths, pretty much everything on KVR, and this one is in my top 10 of all time. I am not a plug in collector either, most of those synths I try get a trip straight to the 'recycle bin' shortly after their demo, yet this synth is staying. This synth has a great sound and is versatile. It can hang out with my Waldorf MicroQ as well as my Korg MS2000R, which to me is saying something.

Also, the interface is great for a modular environment, useable and attractive, yet still able to be focused and simple enough to get things done. I have decided to show my appreciation with a small donation...

Thanks!

yeah, the dual osc looks really cool, should bring some new sounds into
KFX :) Will it be included in the next update?

Yep ! :D

besides the new oscillator, next release will also include components
for FM, as well some new modulators and a compressor.
...and of course many fixes and improvements as usual.

I expect to put it online in a week or so... so stay tuned !
