I'm in the process of backing up all my cubase files and what not. Just wondering though, how and/or where does karma store the audio files that you import into its sampler? They don't show up in the pool does karma always goto the original path of the file or does it save a copy of the audio file within the daw?
Cheers

Hi,
page 28 in the manual says something the like: "default stores modules, samples, the patch and changes in the HOST"
and page 42, "all samples are stored within the patch to avoid disk dependencies"
So if you dont choose to save your newly created samplebased patch to a bank/patch, then only your Host/Daw track will have the correct sample.

yes, sync is right: The sample is stored within the patch
and when a patch is saved in the song, this means the samples are stored there too.
