Feature Request!

Post by matthewjumpsoffbuildings »

I built a multiband compressor in your wiked synth, using the input, 5 eq10s, and 5 compressors. this then goes into the output. i was thinking, could you create an object that i can use to control say, the attack speed, on all 5 of my compressor modules? basically what im asking for is a 'dashboard' unit, onto which you can add knobs or sliders, and then wire them into as many knobs and sliders of other modules as you want...so if you have 5 comps and you want to control them all, you can build a centralized control unit.

Hi Matthew!

One way to do it is of course to create a mididata module and
route that signal into as many knobs as you want, but
that is propably not the solution your'e after. Besides that would only give you a "midi" knob, and not a knob on screen.

I plan to add a control panel with lots of knobs that you can use to tweak
controls (and also load patches etc from). That makes it possible to only
use those knobs to change whichever "controls" you want.
In order for this to work in your case, I would have to make it possible for controls to change more than one knob.

Will think about it...I don't see why not.

Done. multiple knobs attached to one controller will be in next release.
Still need to add the control panel though.
