i've been meaning to ask:

would it be possible to have velocity and aftertouch added to the midiData module?

i can't see any other way to modulate the filter with velocity. surely there must be a way. am i missing something?

thanks.

Hey Jammin !

for velocity, route the miditrig module into filter cutoff and it will do exactly that...

not sure about aftertouch though...I'll have to get back to you on that one!

HTH!

btw guys,

people have reported problems with this release in some hosts (Traction, Cubase SX)...

which host are you using ?
and does it work for you ?

yes, my bad. i thought i tried that and it didn't work but i must have had something hooked up wrong.

so i started looking at the midiData module thinking that it would be provided in the type list...along with aftertouch. since pitch bend was there, it seems like a logical place for it.

anyway, i'm set. thanks.

oh yeah, forgot to answer this.

i'm using eXT. and i just tried it in SONAR with no problems.

however, it crashed MiniHost as soon as i right-clicked in the main window.
