Pitch bend/aftertouch

Post by lydays »

Hello- I am knew here so excuse the knew-be questions--How do you assign aftertouch in Karma? How do you set up pitch bend for only ,say, + -2 semi-tones? All I see is octave parameters or 1/2 step tuning. Also -are there patch templates to be had? Say a basic ARP 2600 set or a basic MOOG 55-etc. Thanks for your patience:)

Hi lydays and welcome! :D 8)

Aftertouch can be assigned using the "mididata" module. Simply set type to "aftertouch" in that module and route the output to the knob or slider you wish to apply aftertouch to.

pitchbend is normally only 2 semitones, but you can control the "range", and enable/disable it by right clicking on the "tune" knob in the "notepitch" module.

Not sure what you mean by patch templates, but there are a bunch of extra downloadable banks of patches available here: http://karmafx.net/?id=5

Please let me know if you have any further questions. 8)

By templates I meant Patches set up to mimic ,say, vintage synths-as a place to start.
