hey, it depends on what your'e after...

if you mean howto do a distorted resonant filtered saw bass with stepped
env and stepped note/octaves then you can easily get results like this:

these were made and tweaked in like 10 minutes, so you can propably get better (i.e., closer to what your'e after) sounding results.

If it doesn't sound anywhere near it send me an example riff :)

that patch was made by:
routing step1 into filter.cutoff + amp.amount,
step2 into notepitch.note, and step3 into notepitch octave.
finally, I put a gentle lfo on cutoff.

hey, forgot that 303 is usually 16 steps...

...ah. Very hot. By far my favorite was the last bit in the 303like2.mp3. Good sounding stuff.
