FR: Lowercase for patch knobs

Post by Argitoth »

When renaming knobs, it would help if when using lowercase characters, they showed up as lowercase. For example:

CutEnv will look like CUTENV which is harder to understand.

By design this is not support by the font, so it is not a bug but a feature request. Considering the number of bugs pouring in I would say that this is a "wontfix". Sorry. :?

Welp, I just hope that the future of KarmaFX holds improvements on the custom user control GUI. X-Y pads, bigger knobs, maybe even a switchable view from routing to a user-control page; some ideas for the future.

Oh yes, some more ideas for the GUI user controls, it would be cool if when you selected Filter Mode as a control, the knob would snap to those values that change the filter mode. And there could be buttons in place of knobs for other controls.

dual filters instead
that could be balanced using trigger-attack
some very nice sounding instruments use that use "all filters cutoff" and filter separation
ie. z3ta+

sure it comes down to laziness for the first part, dual-filters
but i have no idea how separation really works
i just have the know-how.. shame really
i should have gotten into this a long time ago, but it just never happened
ill try to make a dual-filter instru though to see how good i really am :P
