Hi there,
I'm sure it's my knowledge of how MidiTrig and MidiData work, but I'm trying to make a midi gate effect, by linking a modulator to the volume of an Output module, but can't get the thing to trigger when midi data is sent through it.
Please can someone help?
Thanks,
C

Midi Gate
Yeah kinda,
Something that takes midi note information (on / off - regardless of note, but maybe velocity modulates volume) and then this would modulate another parameter, such as volume of an output module, presto! A nice midi gate.
(An input generator would take audio and route it through the output module)
Cheers,

Bump!
Hey there,
Any thoughts on this?

you could just automate the volume control with a multistage envelope, that way you could write a nice gate pattern however you wanted.
If you just want it to turn the output down you could just assign say the mod wheel to the volume...I'll have to think about it a bit more to see if there is a way to have just a specific key turn the volume up and down....hmmm....
