KarmaFX,

I just downloaded and installed the version 1 demo.
I'd had one of the v1 release candidates installed, and when I went to run it this evening, I was informed that it had expired, please go to the web site and get the newest demo.
So I did.
I removed the karmaFX folders from the VST plugins folder, installed the new demo, told Tracktion2 to re-scan for plugins, tried to insert the plugin into a track, and got the same error.

did I miss something, or has the expiry date not been re-set for the demo version?

Hi !

1) Verify that you are running the latest version by clicking on the karmafx logo on the control panel. That will show the about box and should say:

KarmaFX -Synth Modular DEMO
VST-Plugin, Version 1.00
Build: 5826 (Nov 1 2007)

If this is not the case, then you are still running and old version. If so, locate an uninstall it.

2) Please check that your computers date is accurate and correct it if needed.

The demo should run fine for a couple of months.

looks like i had a second install of the synth in another sub-folder.
tracktion got confused, perhaps?

AND the the thread is moot, now, as I bought the synth last night!
