the problem is, if i move the note pattern to anything but a power of 4/8/16 (beat based) position, many note hits will cause a Trigger like sound (which lasts for about 100ms or so)
and thats a bug, i think
my backtoearth2009 has that issue, even in the final version you can hear the spikes during portamento sometimes
