OK, now this i appreciate is probably a ridiculous request, but i thought, why not ask? Do you reckon you could make an effect module that can load a VST effect?

Of course anything is possible. And it has been brought up before.

But it's not something I'm planning.
Mostly because of the huge amount of support issues that can arise from this kind of feature (supporting many different vst's), not to mention the cross platform issues (like supporting audiounits on Mac).
So I think it's safe to say no, this will not be implemented. Sorry.
